Gilbert Groove – 1/20/2021

The unsettling heat creeps into the windows and crevices of this desert home as the local fauna seek refuge in the stingy shade of the landscape.  The only solace is the faint winds that languidly pass by as if sleeping walking.  Their touch is fleeting yet the trees belie a false sense of hope as they sway slightly in the sky.  A tall draught of a chilly concoction of cold brewed coffee offers some reprieve as the excited children of caffeine stroll through my veins.  Thankfully, this latest rendition of the Gilbert Groove series will provide a refreshing alternative to the dismal forecast of the day.  Drink up my friends!
