The hidden gems in our lives are often laid bare right in front of us, but we choose to ignore them in search of grander and more lavish treasures that seemingly offer more value. As we furtively trudge through life chasing after these medals of accomplishment and notches of esteem, we forget the important things and we simply exist in the ethos of false importance. For the most part, we all share the basic tenants of a fulfilled life and they are easily obtained if we care to nurture them and smile with the efficacy of their simple joys. The lines of separation and disparity have broadened to unfathomable levels between class groups, but the base divisions come from the perceived costs of these gains. A bigger home, a nicer car, brand clothing and the little knickknacks of wealth are all false prophets yet we strive to obtain these things at the behest of health, relationships and a general candor for humanity. As with all novel things, their value has a rate of attrition and we grow weary of even the best of things so we seek out further validation to satisfy our hungry ego. Remove yourself from the hamster wheel of gratification and take measure of the vast wealth in front of you.

Take heed and hold of your heart and evaluate your life with clear and open eyes of what is important. All things become memories and it`s more fun to share them with those closest to you than gazing into the emptiness of a vacant home and life. Listen to the latest Tasty10 Joints and think!
