DJ Brother M

1970年代初頭から常に40年以上Black Musicを聴き、踊り、回し続けるSoul Borther的存在のDjである。70～80年代中心のSoul, Funkはもちろん90年代のR&B, HIPHOP､そして最新の曲まで幅広い選曲とMixでPlayするDjだ。1973年に先輩に連れられて行ったSoul Discoで衝撃を受け､1979年渡米時にHiphop創生期を現場で体験し､更に強い影響を受ける。数多くのDisco, Club, 米軍基地, Radio Show等でPlayし､都内・横浜・千葉を中心に数々のSoul Bar・Club・Eventで回し続けている。Joey Slickとは2000年初期にお台場のSoul Train Cafeで出会ってから､Joint One Radio ShowやJoint Oneのイベントにも参加するようになった。17年以上六本木Soul Bar TearsのレギュラーDj、故:ドン勝本氏に認められ白金DanceteriaのDjとなり､同店閉店ファイナル３日間もDjとして参加、2011年７月の新宿Neo MasqueradeのGrand OPEN＆レギュラーDjをはじめ、現場重視のスピリットで現在も毎週末精力的に活動している。Dj Playのみならず数多くのMix CD制作をはじめ､渋谷Neoでの”The UNITY”や現在14年間継続し通算140回を超えるイベント”SPARKLE”など数多くのイベントプロデュースの実績も兼ね備えたDjである。

A devoted fan of African-American influenced music for 40 years since the early 70s, DJ Brother M has continued his flair for spinning and inspiring a revelry of dance from his audience.  His musical resume consists of soul, funk, R&B, Hip Hop and best of the latest to hit the airwaves.  An extended stint in the US saw this DJ cast his melodic magic in clubs, US military bases, radio shows and more.  Nearly unstoppable, DJ Brother M maintains a busy schedule highlighting sets at various venues in Tokyo, Yokohama and Chiba.  His credits include:  Regular DJ of Roppongi Soul Bar Tears for over 17 years, DJ of Shirokane Danceteria, DJ of Grand OPEN & Regular DJ at Shinjuku Neo Masquerade.
