Become A Job Hunting Samurai

J1Japan | November 15, 2018

The Art of Job Hunting takes many forms and it is littered with pitfalls, bad advice and confusion.  If you are a novice or a veteran of the Japanese job market, there is truly only one master of information – JobsinJapan!    Peter Lackner, the Shogun of this mighty empire, has put together a dynamic platform for people to educate themselves through informative posts and engaging podcasts that provide the foundation to make informed decisions and link up with the right jobs.

Check out this great video from them.  And go to their website:  JobsinJapan

Most assume that the only jobs available to them as a foreigner are teaching positions.  That was the historical norm, but these days, there are many employers that offer positions in the field of social media – creators of content for Youtube, Instragram and bloggers of all varieties.  Fun fact:  You don`t even need to live in Japan to apply for these positions.

One company worth mentioning in light of this revelation is Hirose Dispatching.

Check the Jobsinjapan website for more information.  They are listed under the category of Media, Publishing, Printing.

And for edutainment, check out JobsinJapan podcasts on:

You can check out an episode of their podcast that deals with photographers working their magic.  It`s entitled:

The Inside Japan Podcast – Tourism Consultant/SNS Marketing Manager – Victor
