A bemusing and powerful line from the movie, Conan The Barbarian, has Valeria asking Conan, `Do you want to live forever?` Given their line of work, they knew they can expire by a gruesome death at any given moment and kudos to Crom if he let them see another dawn with their willy still attached. As an aging bauble in life deeply entrenched in the autumn of time, the question of a noble decline pops up in the most unusual places. If you could live to 100 yet be confined to a wheelchair barely able to function, is that life? At what point is a life still worth living? An increasing contingent of folks are hell bent on prolong their stamp on the living and taking great lengths to make sure they are passing gas with the best of them beyond their allotted times. Cryogenics, blood infusions from healthy youths, transfer of mental processes to a hard drive for future insertion…the list goes on both legal and dark. Many of us save and invest for the future for our `golden years` are apparently after 65 when we don`t have to work and our true lives begin. I prefer to throw my money down now and take a ride around the carousel of life. I believe health rather than wealth will dictate your enjoyment post retirement. What about you?

Till then, get some exercise in and eat well….down that burger, but extra laps in the pool! Now bounce around for life is good.
