Joey Slick
As I get older, I feel as if I`m prone to the AD side of ADHD as my attention span seems to be devolving into blitzkrieg moments of absorption and then throttles way off to some other tangent that catches my eye. It wasn`t always like this as far as my memory dictates from when I was a wee toddler in school. I kept astute notes of class lectures and completed my homework diligently like some prototype nerd. So I guess the advent of technology where meted information is spewed out like projectile vomiting where tidbits of ideas are drawn on the virtual wall of perception. I have also been a very keen observer of patience and could wait out the most boring of endeavors with a whistle and a hum. Now, I fidget like some morose hummingbird incapable of decision making as it jumps from flower to flower hyped up on uppity nectar. Meditation is out of the question as even the sound of my breathing annoys me and my bony ass riots with complaints from prolonged usage. Despite this, I find myself rather content and morbidly comfortable being cooped up, but of course, the torrid heat that can melt steel keeps my anxiety at bay. I hope you are all doing well and finding joy in the monotony of the every day.
