B_OZ. (BOUNCE) – 6/7/2020

A glowing haze sets a halo to all objects as far as I am able to gather with my book weary eyes and the lilting heat of the mid afternoon sun is rather punishing for those without shelter. My dreams have been daunting with nostalgic imagery and I often lie barely awake still gripped by heavy slumber in a vain attempt at grasping at the threadbare meanings. I remember strolling through the frigid waters of the ocean at the edge of the sand not daring to go further as the fear of the roiling sea still holds a solemn weight to my adventurous side. I can see the rooftop of my abode where I reside in the company of solitude and the meandering affections of friendly felines. A world away and I am awakened by a gust of hot air to remind me of my station and predicament. I do not know where my steps will take me tomorrow, but I imagine it will more of the same. A want of change tastes sweet on my imagination and I know I will hold hands with Fate once more when time finds it convenient to do so. Till then, bounce along my friends…bounce.
