Fire Kitchen – 12/10/2020

I find the kitchen to be the central station of anyone`s home.  If you clock the hours you spend in and around this crucial element of any domicile, you will be bewildered at how much you linger around this bastion of sustenance.  Growing up, I would sit a few feet away from where my mother would be carefully crafting the family meal while I meandered about watching corny comedies like Three`s Company and magical dramas like Fantasy Island.  The smells wafting about my senses would appease my rumbling companion with full understanding that something delicious was about to enter their space.  I feel a deep connection with the matriarch of the house whenever I am attempting my own rendition of her dishes and especially when I dive into recipes that go beyond my scope of skills.  I tune into the Fire Kitchen album for spicy motivation, but I hear her motherly voice guiding my hand and providing instinctive wisdom to the fine arts of cooking.  If you ever have to learn a life skill, a practiced mind in the carnal knowledge that is food will be a promising and rewarding medal to your repertoire of attractive assets.  Oh, you ask, `Do people find this alluring?`  Duh, how can you turn your back on someone that can make you a multi-layered omelette for breakfast so fluffy that you need a surgeon`s hand to navigate it tastefully?  Anyone can buy you a meal.  But that one individual that can place a collage of colors and flavors before you on a loving plate……well, that`s a keeper.  Trust me.  And this is not a single`s ad.  Or is it?  I`m such a moron at times.
