Fire Kitchen – 12/24/2019

The victuals of the heavens may not have agreed with the residents this day for it is ruinously cold to enjoy the cleansing of a good rain.  The hard opaque of the clouds allows for a strong ambient light, but the exertion of such efforts casts a sorrowful mood in its wake.  A lingering cup of darkened brew sits idly with laments of heat wafting away.  I drift into the latest track as my body oozes into the furniture.  It is a good day to be alive.
