Holiday Jams – 12/16/2020

Twas the night before pay day and all through the house, not a creature was stirring, not even the lazy, over fed cat that farts in your general direction when agitated.  The stockings were hung by the broken radiator with care, in hopes that Congress would pass the bloody stimulus bill so we can get aid.  The hungry children were nestled all snug in their beds, while visions of instant macaroni and cheese danc’d in their heads.  Well, you get the rest.  As some of us whine and whinny about the trials and tribulations of cabin fever and the abhorrent taking of our freedoms to not wear a mask, millions face eviction and hunger through these `treasured`holidays.  Step away from the mirror and stop gazing at yourself for you are lucky to have such episodes of venting and pining over your recent weight gain from overindulgence.  The vastness of suffering and want should make you slap yourself from self pity.  Do your part this holiday season and bring a smile to someone else!
