Holiday Jams – 12/20/2020

The noise of the media lingers in clamoring echoes as I walk the property line with a mug of wakey wakey elixir and the soft crunch of gravel manages to dull the constant buzz.  The air is numbing and the shrill calls of the menagerie of birds in the area is a welcome respite.  Day in and day out, this has become my morning ritual.  The chilling cleanse of the wintry desert air and play on light by the emerging sun quiets the mind and cold against my sleepy soul is inviting.  A different cast of shadow plays out this holiday season and it should be a bitter reminder of the fragility of our realities and shine bright on the things that matter most.
