01. R&B Jams 16.1
Joey Slick
I feel as if I have devolved back into the primordial gelatin that once reigned supreme as the eminent life form on this lonely planet. The early morning haze of light, like a beacon in the darkness, beckons to the primitive sensory organ that is my brain, deprived from restless sleep and held fast to the fluffy comfort of a modern bed. I call forth my listless limbs to rise and hold fast and resist all efforts to lie like some aimless blob oblivious to the spinning world around me. I manage to lurk into the abyss and rally movement to the kitchen where some manner of energizing elixir awaits my dexterous handling to give it form. After much fumbling and scalding scolds from energized water, I manage to draw out a cup of noxious caffeine and drink from its embers till the tinge of burning wallops me. After a repetitive process where a pile of deceased grounds lay scattered, I can at last breath deeply and start my day. I am yet of an age where man sized diapers are in need, but it is becoming more abstract and difficult to awaken with that glint of profound purpose. I am in a rut so deep, I can have a quaint chatter with a bloke from the other side of the world.
