R & B Jams – 8/25/2020

I am an aged soul with optimism still oozing from the pores and regrets that occasionally hold riots.  Often memories, far and near, are taken out, dusted off and relived through the rickety electric stem of my brain.  I enjoy the luster and fondness of foregone images and relinquish myself to its familial embrace.   But don`t dwell longer than necessary in such forays into nostalgia for its sticky grip of remorse can entangle you and keep you from moving forward.  Those dim glances are nothing more than a chemical library for you to peruse and to learn from.  Hang the photos of bright spots and ponder their goodness.  Take the pages from your past and tweak it for your future.  Only today matters.
