Tasty10 Joints – 2/5/2022

It is a day of remembrance, a time to pause for a moment to ponder the sacrifice of so many souls that looked past the politics and whether vocal or reticent of their cause, brushed it aside with noble breath and determined steps. It is also a time of grievance as we tip toe close to a milestone of death in the path of our waking crisis. It is also a time where millions of hapless minds disregard common sense in exchange for grilled meat in tube form (we miss you Tony Bourdain!) and lurid strolls on beaches dotted with pasty sunbathers. I am convinced that if a UFO landed today, we would yawn with consternation and berate them for blocking the sun. I decided to cut the cord on the media for a day (except for this moment to blanket you with my blithering prose of righteous fodder) so I can make use of the trendy `mindful`trickery and focus on books of fantasy and lore in an air-conditioned corner of the house (the sun here will melt your innards in minutes to a fine texture of poached eggs). For when I gaze into the pages of creative seduction and my mind wanders with oblivious harmony, nothing can faze me (except for the smell of bacon) and I am at peace with the foul chaos of my surroundings.

I hope each of you discover your happy place for the day and whether that be a session of astute devouring of a buffet at an outdoor soiree or lying decadently naked in the cleansing arms of the stratosphere, find peace and happiness. And if you have cake, you can eat it too.
