Tasty10 Joints – 10/21/2021

A tempest of unforeseen origin comes howling through with its raging winds, rare maelstrom of hail and damaging menace. It lasts for what seems scant minutes yet its merciless carnage can be seen throughout the land. Already fragile trees, decimated by the heat and scarcity of water, crumble within its wake and the tortured limbs lay scattered along the road like refuse. A mammoth tree that long held its reign gave way to the power of the storm and crushed the wall before it as it came tumbling down in ruin. The streets seem to sweat from the heavy downpour and it appears as if a great flood had just came to visit and departed as quickly as it arrived. The awesomeness of this demonstration gives me greater respect to nature and a solemn reminder we are but ants in its world. Or is this just a sign to the times ahead as we huddle in timid fear of the unknown.
