Tasty10 Joints – 5/10/2022

A new day unfolds mimicking the pretense of yesterday with sparse distinctions to distinguish them.  An oozing slice of deli sausage and industrial cheese sizzle my fingertips despite its crusty dress and my innate palate chirps like hungry chicks.  The yearning for travel, any travel, languishes deep in the recesses of my aging mind and I ponder listlessly at the possibilities.  Where does one find purpose to crank the imagination toward contentment?  How do we judge our decisions as the temporal beacon to our own destinies?  Aimless ambition is a dangerous temptation toward living and I seek solace in the mundane activities of our age.  I envy those with even transparent goals for mine seem to sway with the changing winds.
