The Shuzz – 10/13/2020

We have been told that if we follow the rules, go to college and work hard, a life of rewarding satisfaction would be within our grasp and that we could die happy.  This old adage of the American dream has been decimated by a calamity of circumstances and withered to its bone by the falsehoods of prophecy.  The formula may work for some, but for many, it is simply a false hope with little regard to the obstacles and misfortunes that line our paths of existence.  Of course there are an abundant number of reasons and excuses why this particular road map may lead to a dead end and certainly we as human beings will make poor choices that may derail our ambitions.  But when the powers that be instill insurmountable obstacles, when a misadventure of Fate ravages your known perspective, it is hard to fall back on such assurances and start questioning the purpose of it all.  There are no guarantees in life, that we have all learned in some way or another.  It is not just adjusting the course of events, but rather changing the attitude and optical outlook of what we announce to be success.  We must each glean from our actions the truest of intentions and revel in the poignant joy of life and what entails that joy for each of us.  Choose wisely….
