The Shuzz – 10/6/2020

As the maddening heat begins to wane and the cooling night air brings sanity once more, the opus of life springs anew and the garden I tend with careful eye and dutiful attention brings a new bounty.  Only the disheartening absence of the life giving bees brings a stark reminder of our world and I beckon emptily to the winds for their return.  So I must turn to the artful knowledge of science and experience to ensure that the emerging new flowers that are the predecessors of a glorious harvest make it through without their normal caretakers.  What does this entail?  Well, I must manually cross pollinate the male and female flowers like some tawdry botanical pimp.  I must sprinkle the awaiting blossoms with the energized pollen of the exuberant males for the magic to happen.  Though there is no natural Barry White album echoing in the background, the soft humming of tracks from the Shuzz series will have to do to make sure the two timid lovers of vegetables mate and bring forth a child of the garden.  

So whatever hobbies you may be throwing your attentions to, plant something if you have the space.  Growing your own food is a subtle pleasure with tremendous rewards.  Now jam to our The Shuzz series and get gardening!
