Densha Jams – 7/5/2020

Siblings can be both a gift and a curse for some as many can attest to. Sure the bonds of family and the blood ties go deep into the psyche both physically and mentally and have profound effects on one`s life for better or for worse. It can be akin to a Greek tragedy where the protagonist cries foul for injustice and then shed his own life for the other that has fiendishly troubled him without a thought, for love of a brother or sister goes deep into the flesh beyond what the mind can muster to justify anything. The world can be a harrowing place and sometimes the only solace may lie in the comforting silence between kin that rivals any poignant conversation full of verse and thoughtful gestures. It can be better to have an insufferable companion through the trials and tribulations of living and dying rather than stare into the emptiness with no one to echo your thoughts or singe you with burning sarcasm for comic relief. I have been a galaxy away from the standard template of a good brother, but I inch closer to a worthy resume of brotherly achievements as time goes on and we recognize that time is not on our side.

Reach out to your siblings and give them a good smack of affection. It will do you good. I hope this Densha track will give you some words of thought to mutter.
