Densha Jams – 11/25/2020

The alarming velocity of the world has siphoned the very breath from my soul and I am in a constant state of flux due to the ambiguousness of it all. The constant flow of information has become a blur of comprehension and I find myself simply flummoxed by its smothering nature. We go about our routines to fill the emptiness and consume vast quantities of nutrition – the good and the bad – to provide a cushion. Then we ponder the dread and the terror of others who have far dire circumstances and we exhale in exasperation for our ability to provide comfort is a thin veil to the disparages of the day. Joy is a sparse commodity and confidence an evaporating mist in a blazing desert. A daily walk through the communal pathways is dotted with an assortment of families and pets and they offer a delicate reprise to the sheer weight of the unknown.

We hope you are all finding ways to calm the nerves and inspire. Books and especially music hold a timid foundation to my sanity and we hope this track can provide some solace to the cycle of living.
