Densha Jams – 11/6/2020

The infinite stretch of road unraveled before the stalwart gaze of my teary eyes as the deafening roar of the windswept horizon battled tooth and nail with the blaring treble of music screaming from the antiquated radio. The fettered tempest within found no revelry nor mischief to unleash for the interior was void and my bald pate offered nothing to flummox.

The remnants of a highly questionable morsel of sustenance consumed at the last modern oasis held on for dear life at the edge of my cowering facial hair. A trifle yet noxious twitter from my bowels announced I would be reacquainted with the demure beast at some point.

Traffic was negligible and the only congestion was the crowded thoughts of nostalgia feasting from my memories. I had nowhere to go, but somewhere to be. The ride was the journey and it was uninhibited by a beginning or an end.

Take this track with you on your next trip outdoors while evading the quarantine authorities. But respect others and smile from a distance in their general direction.
