Densha Jams – 6/18/2020

Cautious, fettered feet pad silently across the rock strewn landscape, eyes gazing longingly at the prize yet an obstacle of unknown origin dampens their spiritual hunger. Having survived the relentless summer heat in ragged conditions and edging toward their weaning of their mother`s teat, the furry scoundrels are held by their natural instinct to survive threats of wary origin yet their belly screams to move forward into the battle. They look toward their kin for encouragement perhaps nudging the braver soul to go for broke. How dangerous can this sloth like creature be despite its torrid height and foul smell of humanity? Strange guttural sounds emanate from the beast, perhaps in pain from the contorted facial expressions it seems to be purchasing to them. Yet the being holds a most scrumptious of smells in his gaping paws and it lures them onward with feral feelings from the pit of their gut. Their mother hisses yet offers no respite or words of advice. It is up to them to conquer this mighty foe and bring forth the rewards of war.

A surprise litter of felines have befallen our quiet neighborhood as if a celestial sign from bellowing of want. I shall embellish them with kindness and sustenance worthy of note. Long live the cat!
