Densha Jams – 6/22/2020

A mystery of death defying logic lurks in the recesses of our minds as the world unfolds with its chaos and society strains at the seams like an overstuffed turkey. Predictions are made with casual statistics and haughty tempers of knowledge only to fall to the way side and be swept up as refuse until the next proclaimed prodigy of the future walks in to take their seat in front of the media. Alarmists decry the erosion of freedom as they strangle their neighbors to abide by their rules and regulations. A creeping doom stretches its tendrils and cautiously, but without obstacle, consumes life without prejudice. Booming numbers of the ill click ever upward and the deniers walk hand in hand with death like a couple in the park on their honeymoon. The once beacon of progress and redemption looks awkwardly dim and the once subjugated and envious cast their glances of empathy or lack there of. The day of this nation`s independence approaches, but it may be a funeral pyre that lights up the sky as the booming of rockets are replaced by the wailing cries of grief. Stay frosty my friends for there will be cold and dark days ahead if we continue to keep our heads down to the frenzy around us.
