Some people are adverse to stormy weather. You could say they have a trepidation for the chaos and the loss of control of their surroundings as they huddle in their place of safety to ride out the heavy metal concert of nature. I for one absolutely relish these moments of absolute power and will devote my full attention to the spectral displays of energy that come from the fathomless well of Mother Earth. I am particularly fond of thunder and lightning events where light is hurled across the sky in streaking bolts of electric tendrils and eagerly await the resounding pounding of the celestial drums that come in answer to the fireworks. I adore rain especially when it tumbles down sideways riding the back of howling winds. Then there is willowy echoes and high pitched screams of the wind, that invisible force that bends the landscape to its will and wreaks havoc on finely coiffed hair. This phantasmal musical is more enjoyable during the day so you can cast your visage on the decibel piercing dance of the heavens while enjoying a cup of coffee in the confines of a smart little piggy style house of brick. Absent of any warning sirens, it is the most sensuous of experiences to stand in the midst of the angry ballet standing on the beach where the archaic waves sing loudly with sound and motion and you are basically naked to the elements. Oh, how I miss sitting for a long train ride as the scenery erupts in the torment of weather gone wild.
