Densha Jams – 8/26/2020

Life is like a perpetual train ride with unique compartments and diverse cars shared with a multitude of passengers from all aspects of life.  There are stops along the way where you can check out the local scene or perhaps get on a different line to another destination.  There`s only one final stop for everyone, but how we get there is the journey and the varied stations along the route, a new path of discovery.  You can plan out somewhat your trip with a carefully laid out itinerary guided by a relatively accurate map.  Or you can hop along for the experience winding up in places that you don`t recognize and where the streets have names in languages unspoken to you.  You can linger in one place for a while if the feel of the surroundings speak to you.  I have taken more routes than I can remember and encountered people of all walks.  I feel my choices in life have led me to where I am and there are no regrets thus far despite disappointments along the way.  I picture myself spending my remaining days hitching rides on this palatial commuting platform until my legs grow weary and a particular stop beckons to me.  Till that day, I ride.
