Gilbert Groove – 5/2/2020

The body has many erogenous zones – some blatantly obvious (or so I`m told) while others can be as baffling as an all white jigsaw puzzle. This quest for the hidden treasures has often been romanticized and criticized through a variety of entertainment mediums – and the folly of those whom profess to be a curator of all such knowledge have often burned in the fiery flames of disappointment. I myself have a diminished map to points of interest and most have weathered the storm of scrutiny. I may dilly dally here and there with idle notions of grandeur to seek new worlds unless I encounter the locals that seem haphazardly disagreeable to my intrusions. I may Robert Frost my way to new territories, but sometimes, you must stay hardy to the true and tried paths of experience and responsive critiques laid bare. This tale of adventure or perhaps sullen acceptance is an odd euphemism to the choices unfolding within the confines of our habitat as we strive for purpose or a return to what we know and hold dear. My life has been upended with worrying frequency from one end of the world to another. My mortal clock is well past noon and my decisions are now subjugated by intrepid responsibilities. What lies ahead? Which journey shall I darken with my aging soul?
