I have never believed in Fate (or religion for that matter) or its all encompassing power to dictate your station in life. I grew up with certain constraints, biases and advantages and ultimately discovered that my predicament in society was solely on my shoulders to bear. I have been fortunate (some would say extremely lucky) to not have faltered or to have transgressed provincial laws to the point of prolonged incarceration given my random acts of absolute stupidity and gloried antics of youthful imaginations. I have trudged through all the pitfalls and trappings of young adulthood and exploited opportunities to the benefit and regret of experience. I earned currency through a variety of vocations and spent that certified paper with unabashed enthusiasm without much ponderance to future endeavors or stability. I own little, but to my credit, owe nothing to would be collectors, perhaps my greatest mercurial achievement. I remain fit through regimented exercise despite knowing that I am fallible to disease or to reckless driving by maniacal drivers around me. I eat well and don`t mind the slight halo around my midsection as if some burrowing animal was making circles around my waist. I am too old for some inclinations, but still capable of ample accomplishments if I could shake my obsession for television and shed my thinning layer of procrastination. There is much to do and far more to see before I check off my name from the list of relevance. But perhaps one more episode of this and that with a pile of pistachios and bathtub of coffee before I hasten such proclivities.
Find your path with brute honesty as you elbow your way past the irrelevant and meddling voices of contempt and envy that line your road. This Gilbert Groove track is the perfect music to guide your steps and your soul.
