Space….the final frontier…..and they can keep it! Seriously, as much as I love the sci-fi epics of traveling through the starry expanse of emptiness, I don`t think they truly epitomize the psychologically scarring fatigue and weary boredom of traveling through epic stretches of infinity and beyond. The early pioneers of travel will really be heroes for they will have to succumb to the rather nothingness they will encounter for vast periods of time where an endless supply of Netflix and booze will not begin to touch the scratch of dizzying dullness that will be the daily routine. I need fresh air. I need a breeze on my face. I need an In-n-Out burger when the pangs of desirous fat and grease beckon me. I consider myself an adventurous nomad eeking out new discoveries and sampling questionable pieces of grilled something, but to be stuck in a tube with dehydrated entrees and taking a dump into a vacuum pump for months or years doesn`t exactly push my buttons of living. There`s enough here on this glob of a planet to garner any idea of curiosity I need for the remnants of my existence. Good luck space cadets!
