Monterey Mix – 1/4/2023

Our nascent nation made their intentions clear to their tyrannical masters and fully committed to the idea of independence a while back and look at where we are today. A country embroiled in bitter turmoil in both class and race. A country populated by indignant freedom worshippers acting like a selfish bully that can`t get his fill of liberty candy for the day. A country full of commercial zombies so engrossed by their quest for synthetic enjoyment that they ignore the venomous virus with its fangs at its neck.

I hope everyone enjoys this festive week of renewal – always a favorite holiday of mine since childhood – the right to reboot. Today I will enjoy another home cooked meal with the feline crew in tow and watch the random launch of store bought fireworks in the neighborhood. I hope they don`t terrorize the kitties, but they probably will.
