Monterey Mix – 11/4/2022

As I float aimlessly in the early Fall of life, I often dwell on the future and where I will traverse the Earth in a futile, yet fun, race against the claws of age. Where I live, I am witness to the various stages of life as time wears away at the fire of our souls and delicate sinew of our bodies. It can be both illuminating and daunting to see what lies before you and may nibble voraciously at the core of your soul as you evaluate the time spent walking this orbital chaos.

With a sense of relief, much of the blindness of youth has dissipated and my desires are more tempered and less infested with woeful consequences. I need less of what I can possess and more of what my senses can drink in with memories filed away in the shrinking bank of my mind.

Now I look forward armed with the knowledge of bodily care to extend the exuberance of my shabby temple so that I may face the end with a moniker of poise and ill contempt for the forces that seek my demise.
