The lucky gentry of society construe the current affairs of a dystopian existence to be frustrating and inconvenient at best while a frighteningly ample wedge of demographics lives in a temporal state of chaotic flux. What was once an accepted state of hardship has now morphed into a prism of despair, suffering and a future slowly burning into bitter ashes. The disparity of perspectives, already a chasm that deepens and widens with each fiscal year, is bubbling over and with the increasing fire of dysfunction, an explosive ready to claim livelihoods and render the caustic fat of revolution. The true tragedy of this adversity we are facing will be the blind eye and forgetfulness that will stamp out any memory of this gaslight moment as the herds return to their own defined pastures and continue to munch on the gilded feed of hypocrisy doled out by their owners. I don`t claim to know or even to comprehend the notion of a life lived well for each of us has our own definition of such. I am fearful of getting it wrong or perhaps never even realizing the truth before my mind consists of lemon jello and I stare off into the galaxy of LED lights that adorn a room that I am not aware of.
