True Joints – 11/28/2022

The sun and the moon played peek-a-boo recently, but unless you were somewhere in Asia, you probably missed the shenanigans of our galaxy`s premiere players. How often we forego the magical drama that plays out in the inky sky with scattered points of brilliance and majestic orbs of orbiting beasts that cast their beauty like a quiet flower in bloom. Not long ago, the dance that was entertained and baffled the ant like population on the ground with its wonders and many a good lore was written to explain their movements and give meaning to their existence. As knowledge grew, the stars guided our passage across water and deserts and we came to understand that the fictional truths we had envisioned were mere costumes to our ignorance. Having lived in expansive mega cities for nearly 25 years, it has been a chore to appreciate the sheer expansive luster and brightly littered art of our universe as man made illuminations blanket their canvas. I long for them again and look forward to a pilgrimage for their embrace.
