Missed opportunities in life, whether aware or oblivious to them until too late, can be haunting on so many levels. We are creatures of nostalgia and the ugly head of regret can lurk deep in our bones until we are but dust. Through tremendous effort, one can lock away these wrenching memories to the dustbin of time yet somehow, their evil tendrils can lurk and strangle your subconscious into submission if not careful. It can suffocate inspiration and force you to devolve into a base life form. So take this opportunity in life, tormenting as it may be, and examine the essence of who you are and want to become. It is a great time to reinvent oneself.
