The markers of history and the misguided emblems that celebrated the false narratives of notoriety are beckoning to be erased and we are finally coming to grips with the truth of our past. With such blatant evidence of misdeeds and the continuous line of remembrance unadulterated by time, it is amazing it took such a prolonged period of obliviousness to realize the errors and misjudgments of our recorded memory. There are protests from those who oppose the removal of such demagogues citing blasphemy to historical figures and a return to heretical times, but their shortsightedness is appalling. Freedom was hard won in this country and it extends to all that find footing in this great nation and not only to those with a lineage back to the hallowed days of the revolution. The word freedom is tossed around like unlimited gravy at a mashed potato festival with rights shaking in the air as fists and self-indulgence as a bastion to do what comes to mind at will. A great tumult is brewing and we are witnessing an epoch of change that will haunt us with good and bad experiences. Hold on to your hats folks.
Enjoy your freedoms to walk about and engage with the world around you. Just take precautions for yourself and others and it will not curse your day from fun. Grab this Monterey Mix track and take a hard boogie on the pavement and enjoy what life has given you.
